Step 1

Resources

For the best PlateZ, we need the best clay, which means having the finest network of manufacturers. We've got them.

Step 2

Shaping

The form will be wheel-thrown or shaped by hand. We create custom-made PlateZ for our clients, painstakingly crafting each by hand to absolute perfection.

Step 3

Dry & trim

After spending several days drying under plastic, our product will be dry enough to trim and mold into its final form. It can take up to three weeks for our product to be sufficiently dry for the initial baking process, culminating in its entry into the kiln.

Step 4

Biscuit fire

The first firing involves a temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius and the process takes up to 18 hours to complete. Only then are we able to unload the kiln.

Step 5

Glazing

The final step involves achieving the perfect look. At 1240 degrees, the plate acquires its vibrant color and solid durability. This firing process enhances its beauty, strength, and waterproof qualities.
